Classroom Overview

Each week I will visit each class in order to teach SEL or Social and Emotional Learning skills that will greatly benefit the student throughout their time in the education system. Along with this, as needed, I will be talking with students on a one-on-one or small group environment in order to focus on topics of SEL that might be more important to the individual or the group.

Some examples of Social and Emotional Skills are:

  • Learning how to listen
  • Learning how to Share and play fairly
  • Learning about multiple different emotions (Happy/Sad etc.) and management of said emotions

I strive to create a fun and unique way of learning these critical skills, but in order to do so I need the students to:

  • Follow directions
  • Keep hands and feet away from other students
  • Allow other students to share stories
